Originally from Northern Portugal, he combines experience in hospitality with a passion for cycling and outdoor sports. He has taken part in several international MTB events and is also a kitesurfer. At FeelAzores Sports, he is dedicated to creating authentic, personalised experiences, showcasing the Azores through adventure, sport and nature.
Ricardo is from São Miguel and has been a nature activities guide for over 20 years. Specialised in canyoning, coasteering, kayaking, cycling, climbing and hiking, he knows the island like few others. Passionate about adventure and nature, he is dedicated to delivering authentic, safe and memorable experiences, revealing the most genuine side of the Azores with the energy and friendliness that define him.
Originally from Alentejo, she found in São Miguel the ideal place to combine her passion for nature, sport and connecting with people. Passionate about an active lifestyle, she uses her free time to explore trails and discover the island’s hidden corners. Henrique Candeias is from São Miguel but spent part of his childhood on Terceira Island. Passionate about outdoor activities, he has a strong connection to trails, cycling and running. Friendly, dedicated and professional, he stands out for his close, attentive service and his drive to provide safe, authentic and memorable experiences. Rui is from São Jorge Island and has lived in São Miguel for over a decade. With experience in customer service, he believes friendliness and attention to detail make all the difference. Passionate about sport, nature and outdoor activities, he welcomes every visitor with professionalism and good humour, providing authentic and memorable experiences.
FeelViana Sport Hotel opens its doors, bringing together sport, nature, hospitality and sustainability. With it, the Bike Center is also born, dedicated to premium bike rentals, a specialised workshop and guided cycling experiences.
All the experience, knowledge and passion for cycling gained in Viana do Castelo gave rise to FeelAzores Sports. We brought to São Miguel our commitment to quality, adapted to one of the most extraordinary settings in the world to ride.
